We have an important announcement to make. After more than a decade at our current location, we have made a decision to relocate our office. This is a positive thing for our firm and our clients.
Our current building has served us well; however, it has some limitations. Some of the issues we have had are inherent when leasing a building. We couldn't completely control the maintenance and upkeep of the building and facilities. We have experienced a fair share of unacceptable conditions.
The decision to move was not made lightly. Once we knew we would move, the question of where became very important. We wanted this new location to be as convenient as possible to all of our clients and staff; as well as, make financial sense for the firm. Many locations were considered. We ultimately needed to purchase a building so we could control the maintenance and have it meet our additional needs. We wanted to make sure the new building would still be located in a professional and convenient location.
We found the perfect building on Bountiful's historic Main Street. The address is 190 South Main Street, Bountiful, Utah 84010. The quaint, old-fashioned charm of historic Main Street fits well with our desire to have a comfortable environment for our clients and their families to visit.
While this move is farther south than expected, we realized it would be a central location for our more southern-located clients. Our concern continued to be for the more northern clients and how it would impact them. Before buying the new building,we were sensitive to the additional drive time for northern clients. We found that once you are on the freeway, near Brigham, the Bountiful location only adds 12 minutes to the commute time. This is simply because the Bountiful office is easily accessed from I-15, unlike our current office.
Another step we took before deciding on this Bountiful building was talking with various clients from all over and asking for their thoughts about the move. We received overwhelming support and positive feedback. Some clients said, that after their semiannual or annual reviews, they often continue southward to either visit family, go to dinner, shopping, or a movie. The good news is you will pass right by Farmington’s Station Park, where you can attend events, dinners, movies, and shopping. Our new office is also closer to City Creek, another great destination.
Main Street Bountiful is a beautiful destination itself. There is convenient access to restaurants, boutique shops, and more. Overall, the historical setting is a great place to visit. We invite you to bring family members and friends when you come for reviews.
We will make the move this week. Due to regulations, we were unable to give advanced notice of our new office location. Once we are settled in, we will likely host an open house where you can visit the new office. As always, our clients are welcomed to call us and stop by any time.
